Study programme

Upon completion of this Degree, you will have the knowledge you require in order to design, develop, implement and maintain systems, machines and industrial installations that combine electronic, mechanical and automation functions.

To attain this knowledge, you will take subjects relating to mechanics, electronics and automation throughout the 4 years of the degree. In addition, if you have a previous advanced vocational qualification, you will be able to put into practice all of the skills and knowledge you gained and finish your degree in 3 years.

Mathematics

You will learn about the fundamentals of mathematics in order to solve the mathematical problems that may arise in the field of engineering.

 

Physics

You will know how to apply the general laws of mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism for solving engineering problems.

 

Computer Science

You will learn how to program operating systems, databases and IT software with applications in engineering.

 

Mechanics

 

Mechanical Design

You will be able to design mechanical elements using computer aided design tools.

 

Manufacturing Technologies

You will acquire knowledge of basic systems and advanced production and manufacturing, with practical experience in laboratories.

 

Resistance of materials

You will learn everything related to materials resistance, elasticity and its characteristics.

 

 

Thermal and fluid engineering

You will apply the principles of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics to problem solving.

 

Electricity and electronics

 

Electrical systems

You will know the principles of circuit theory in order to design and develop electrical machines.

 

Automation

You will acquire the knowledge you need to apply automation to industrial processes.

 

Robotics and artificial vision

Develop the fundamentals of robotics and artificial vision for implementation in industrial applications.

You will gain the neccesary skills to model and implement electronic components and systems.
