FLEXIBLE LEARNER
Shows an open attitude to changes that take place, using innovation and creativity, adopting an active attitude and enthusiasm in everything he/she does.
Characteristics
To achieve flexible learners, one has to be accustomed to it, so the context needs to be changing and uncertain. The student must have the capacity to adjust, in this variable context (continuous innovations and changes, different work posts, etc.) to adapt to the different situations. For this, flexibility and readiness are necessary to adapt oneself to this great environment - timetable, cultures, types of work, people, means, learning modes, etc.). But he/she must also be willing to accept, assimilate and respond to unexpected circumstances. Resilience is basic to continue advancing, even though the situation is unpleasant or problematic. It is also necessary to be able to transmit cheerfulness and enthusiasm, even if one doesn’t know whether this good moment is going to last long or not.
Additionally, in each situation different roles or functions will be played out and an active attitude will be of great help. So, this element will be worked on a lot, each one must find his/her work or place within the group, being at times the project head, so the student must be capable of undertaking project leadership. However, although you work in a group, you may have to be alone in the workplace, so you must be capable of adapting to this situation.
